Faculty Biography

:: Dean Harrington ::::::

Philosophy: My goal is to make learning the guitar fun. I strive to teach the basics, such as note reading and music theory, but also focus on music that interests you. I teach all styles of guitar from rock to classical, and can tailor lessons to suit the individual. I encourage my students to bring in their music on cd or ipod, and I will teach them how to play their favorite songs.

My youngest students are 7 years old, but I also teach adults and everyone in between. Parents are encouraged to sit in on lessons, which can be helpful with younger students.
