And since Musikgarten involves the whole family, there are positive social implications as well. Suzuki Piano and Suzuki Violin Classes
K&S is accepting beginning students, ages 3-7, into Suzuki lessons! The Suzuki approach is based on the method developed by Dr. Shinichi Suzuki. Often referred to as the “mother tongue” approach, it applies principles of language acquisition to the learning of music, and is a natural way for young students to learn. A few important features of this approach are listening, repetition, substantial parental involvement and lots of encouragement. Suzuki Guitar
Suzuki guitar method is an excellent, fun, approach for starting your young child of 5 years old and up. Parent, student, and teacher work together at each lesson with concepts of rhythm, pitch, posture, and guitar technique. Listening is essential as the student is taught at the beginning, by rote, to play familiar melodies. Parent and child practice together daily at home and enjoy repeatedly listening to music to be learned via a CD recording.
