Gene has extensive experience as a teacher. He is a member of a lot of different professional associations, so he can offer his students a wide range of performance opportunities. He also incorporates his own original ideas and writes music for his students as needed.

In a typical lesson, Gene will address a student's needs and offer basic skills to help them achieve their goals.

In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, camping, bicycling, gardening, and house repair.
