K&S Policies and Procedures
Regular and prompt attendance is expected at all lessons.
Any unresolved conflicts between a student or parent and their teacher should be referred to the directors of K&S.
If an instructor is obliged to miss a lesson for unavoidable reasons, the lesson will be made up within a reasonable length of time. Such changes of lesson time are avoided whenever possible.
Registration is for one full semester. The student is responsible for the entire semester’s tuition upon registration. A 2 or 3 payment plan may be arranged.
Students who discontinue their lessons during a semester are still responsible for the entire semester’s tuition and will not receive a refund unless the reason for dropping is due to unusual circumstances such as an extended illness or a family move out of the metropolitan area.
Should a student not satisfy the standards of the Conservatory, whether it be because of tuition, attendance, lack of progress, or attitude, the Conservatory has the right to dismiss the student, but only after both sides have tried and failed to alleviate the problem. In this case, there is no refund.
Students age 12 and under are not allowed to leave the building after lessons until they are picked up by a parent or designated driver. Any deviations to this policy must be submitted to the teacher in writing by the parents. Teachers will keep these notices on file in the office.

Media Release Policy
The policy is an opt-in or opt-out policy.
K&S Conservatory of Music has the right to capture and use video-audio recordings and photographic images of me and/or my child and/or me or quoted statements in print, electronic, or online media, for educational and Studio promotional purposes only, and without any compensation to me or my child. I agree to waive and release all claims I may have against the Studio relating to the use of these recordings, images, or statements. This Consent is binding upon heirs and future legal representatives.
