Sarah has many years of experience teaching piano. Her goal is for all students to be life long lovers of music. This goal is achieved by giving students the tools to not only learn how to read music, but to be effective practicers so they can learn whatever music they want. Performances are optional and up to the student, but Sarah always finds some way for students to share their music.

Lessons are tailored to the student's individual needs and wants. A typical lesson focuses on mastering pieces and gaining good practice habits, technique, and playing music games. Over the summer, students take a break from their method books and focus on learning any type of music they want and play music games.

In her spare time, she enjoys going on long walks with her dog Sandy, playing video games, cooking and spending time with her husband, Max and daughter, Tilly.
